Neil is currently walking from Cadiz in the south of Spain to Santiago de Compostela in the north. This in not his first Camino, but he has all the usual anxieties about his 1,100 km Spanish Stroll.Over the next 40 days or so, you can follow Neil has he makes his way slowly north. He will record something of this day’s walking and hopes to upload his overview each day. When this is not possible; it isn’t always possible to get a suitable wifi connection, he’ll upload as and when he can.Walking the Caminos is said to be a spiritual thing, but even if you walk without the faith, there really is a lot of time to consider things. To this end, Neil will no doubt find himself musing about life and its challenges. One thing that Neil has recently been given a great deal of consideration to is the search for a meaningful life. Two years away from his 60th, he is becoming increasingly interested in staying active and not settling for a life on the sofa.Over the coming weeks, Neil hope to meet other pilgrims and find out why they are walking, why they chose the Via de la Plata and what they hope to gain from their pilgrimage.
