Your 20s can be the most transformative, turbulent, exciting years of your life. It’s also the decade of tremendous change where you morph into a new version of yourself with each passing year. Long-distance co-hosts Rhea and Shivani are back (albeit, after a long hiatus) with a new episode of Peas in a Pod featuring the bright, shiny, penny Memoli Ward, a Brooklyn-based art director and designer.
In this episode, the trio discusses the many versions of their selves through their 20s, the virtues of keeping a diary (3:26), and the age of reflection. (17:06). In the second half of this conversation, they share unfiltered, unedited journal entries from their past selves (25:55), with a final reading of an excerpt from an essay by the bold, beloved writer who laid the inspiration for this entire episode: Joan Didion.
We hope you can be the fourth pea in another one of these meandering conversations about our inner lives.
