Season 1 was a delight. Titus created a really fun playground for Lindsay and Pat to run around in. If you like scheming for heists, cursed dice, severed arms, and cyberpunk shenanigans, check these pals out!
Arguably this is the best actual play Tabletop RPG podcast I’ve heard. Titus is an incredible world builder and the story is addicting. I love this cast so much that I binged the entire thing, and after I got caught up I listened to it from the beginning again. The story really gets deep in book 2, stick through til then and you won’t be disappointed. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
A great podcast to introduce the Cyberpunk system, but more importantly a fun and engaging story.
Hidden gem. I’ve listened to it multiple times over now. Cool fan community too. I recommend joining the Dark Future Dice discord.
I listened to this podcast faithfully for about a year. The system is interesting, and the story is interesting. I even supported them on Patreon for a while, because I liked so much what they were doing. I enjoyed the interplay of the characters, Barb and DP, and I even appreciated that DP was a bumbling idiot, but somewhat recently I couldn't take his ineptitude anymore. Somehow it was inoffensive enough in the first arc, and it would be one thing if Patrick was just fumbling his rolls (which is something we all do at some point). But as the second arc started out, it was less a matter of bad rolls and more a matter of Patrick's character choices stopping the story from progressing. Titus and Lindsay are great. But Patrick is playing up the oppositional defiance of DP, to the point that he is preventing the story from progressing. I get it, man, sometimes it's fun to play a dolt, but you have to walk an admittedly very fine line between being the comic relief and annoying the bejeezus out of anyone playing/listening/watching. Just let Lindsay take the wheel for a while. because even though she doesn't know the system either, she isn't stopping the story to make bad jokes.
