Dr. Adrian McIntyre is a cultural anthropologist, keynote speaker, media personality, and internationally recognized authority on human communication. He has lived and worked in over 30 countries, delivered more than 1,500 stage presentations, and written two speeches that were presented to members of the United Nations Security Council.Adrian has been working at the intersection of sound and story since he was a kid. His broadcasting career began in 1978, at the age of five, as a co-host of "The Happy Day Express," the longest-running children's radio program in California history.Adrian earned his PhD in cultural anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a Fulbright scholar and National Science Foundation research fellow. He spent over a decade in the Middle East and Africa as a researcher, journalist, and media spokesperson for two of the largest humanitarian relief agencies in the world. He has given hundreds of live TV and radio interviews that reached millions of people via major news outlets such as the BBC, CNN, National Public Radio, Fox News, and the New York Times, as well as regional newspapers and radio stations throughout North America and Europe. Dr. McIntyre is the principal of Speed of Story, a communication advisory firm that specializes in personal storytelling, podcasting, and "conversational thought leadership" for professionals and professional services firms. With engaging keynotes and experiential workshops, he trains leaders and their teams to communicate more effectively and connect on a deeper level by asking better questions and telling better stories. His content creation team at Speed of Story produces compelling thought leadership videos and B2B podcasts that drive relationships, reputation, and revenue.

Her marketing communications background includes skills in media relations, digital communications, social media strategies, special event management, community relations, issues management, and marketing promotions for both the private and public sectors, including such industries as healthcare, financial services, professional services, government affairs and tribal affairs, as well as not-for-profit organizations. Abbie is often invited to present to a wide variety of business and civic organizations on such topics as media relations, social media and digital communications strategies, crisis communications, and special events management.
